Building Services/Project Engineer – D&B Contractor – London
Fantastic opportunity to join this established and growing M&E Design and Build Contractor based in Central London.
Specialising in the High End/High Spec Residential sector my client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Building Services/Project Engineer with a mechanical bias to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity within an established and secure business that is delivering a steady growth plan.
You will be responsible for the design co-ordination between site and both the internal and external design teams.
Main areas of responsibility will include:
Prepare and develop where required, calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications and other documents relating to the design
Assist where required in the coordination of internal design team
Must be able to work to deadlines
Must be able to multi task
Where required by project leader, take responsibility for specific areas of the design and project development
Liaise, where appropriate, with members of the external design team and other associated organisations or companies
Seek and record evidence of, continuing professional development in accordance with the requirements of the relevant professional institution
Thorough knowledge of and compliance with UK standards and procedures
Assist in compilation of final project documentation and safety file/submittal information
Produce technical documents to aid in the commissioning process of projects
You will already have a degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in Building Services, preferably within the Design and Build sector. You will need to be experienced in the use of computer aided design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents.
